Hi, my name is Andrea Robinson and my passion is for dramatic landscapes and bodybuilding. My background is in horticulture and photography hence my interest in garden and plant photography. I also love photographing weddings and young children. My passion for bodybuilding and for beautiful physiques means that I have great love for photographing bodybuilders and fitness portraiture. I live on the Gold Coast in QLD where I run a professional studio at Burleigh Heads. My equipment of choice is a Canon digital SLR for my weddings, portraits and many of my travel landscapes. For my landscapes I use a Tachihara 5x4 field camera with which I shoot sheet film and 6x12 panorama. I also use a Nikon 35mm film camera and 53mm panorama camera. I shoot all of my landscape images on Fuji Velvia transparency film which are subsequently drum scanned and made available as high resolution digital files. I am a member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers where I have received the honour of AAIPP and compete extensively in National and International Salons in which I have received numerous awards. I am also a member of the Australian Photographic Society where I have achieved the honour of AAPS as well as FIAP where I have achieved the honour of AFIAP. |
